A Gift for Mom

Today is my last day of Celebrating MOM week.  If you are just joining in, please check out all the posts from the week.   You can enter your MOM project here, for a chance to win some prizes!

For today's project, I made a gift.  I always have a hard time coming up with something for my mom.  So I decided practical was the best idea.   She is thinking about redoing her kitchen, so I thought this would help jump start the process.

I decorated some hand towels for her kitchen.

I used a pack of flour sack towels
Remnant of fabric
Heat n Bond
French Manor cart for the Flur de Lis {3.5"}

When cutting fabric with your Expression {E2}, you will want to iron on the Heat n Bond to give it some more stability.
I used the settings 2 Speed, 3 Pressure, and 4 Blade depth
I keep a separate blade and mat specifically for fabric cutting.

Place your cut and iron it on.  Very simple and looks fantastic.

Hope you all have a great weekend and Mother's Day!!!    Remember you have until Sunday night to get your Celebrating MOM projects posted.  Winner will be chosen on Monday.
