Rainy Days & Winner

♣ Happy Saint Patrick's Day! ♣

With Spring comes rain!  I know this happens, yet I still complain about it.  I should just be quiet, it's better than snow and it's a step in the warmer right direction.   Rainy days are inside days here, which mean crafting days {probably are suppose to be laundry days, but I make the rules around here}

A few weeks ago I bought these really cute teardrop gems at Michaels.  When I first saw them I immediately thought of raindrops.  So when glancing at my carts, Hello Kitty was the first to stand out at me
That could it be because it's on the front of the box!

Since the whole point of making this card was raindrops, I searched through all the papers I have looking and looking and found some in the DCWV Spring Stack from last year.

I cut out around those raindrops to make a mat for a standard A2 card
In the front of this paper stack I found this sentiment, so I used my Cutterbees to cut it out and use it on the card
Hello Kitty was cut from the HK Greetings cart at {3"}  I cut the umbrella layer twice so I could add some dimension.  I outlined the top layer and added some black stitching to her boots and coat with a fine point archival pen
Satin offray ribbon
Zip Dry glue to adhere the raindrops

I love how they magnify the printed raindrop on the paper behind them.

And now to announce the winner of my cartridge giveaway
Random.org has picked:
