Girls b★day Card

Emily didn't like any of the "ready to go" birthday cards I already have made.  Go Figure!!

I let her look through the handbooks, find a cut she liked and I would make a card for her friend.  Next week we are going ice skating for her friends birthday party.  She's so excited to get out without her brother and sister.

After what seemed like FOREVER she found what she wanted.  Not what I had expected at all.

She picked ROCK PRINCESS!!!! It must have been the pink hair.

I made an A2 card
Recollections and some other scraps that I had for cs and paper
Just got a new Recollection paper pack with some great prints {peace sign paper}
I used the light pink for the base of the card to go with her hair
Hand cut the mats, adhered with my ATG and those good ol' 3D foam dots
Girl is from Rock Princess {4.5"}
I did not cut the white part of the eyes, as I thought they would be too small.  So I used my white Gelly Roll to add in the eyes and some extra highlights to her hair
Finished off the card with a little bling at the bottom with my iRock

I love how 3D foam dots make great shadows with darker papers

Thanks for stopping by!

Don't forget to enter in the cartridge giveaway.   There are only 2 days left!!!

Saturday, March 19th I will be in my FIRST Blog Hop!!!
Keep checking back for more updates on this.
