BLOG HOP!!!

If you have arrived here from Something For Me with Roberta,
then you are in the right place.
If not, then please start from the beginning.

I am so very excited.  This is my first blog hop I have ever participated in.  I have hopped around to many, so I do know the drill.  For those of you who don't, this is a series of projects with the same theme throughout.  You will start at the beginning and hop your way to the next blog.  These designers are amazing!!  You are sure to see some real talent and inspiration.

Dawn, aka NurseViper has asked for this blog hop that we show what it means to love someone.  I decided to look back through some old pics and found a great one of my son and I the day he came home from the hospital.  It seems like yesterday.  He is almost 8 and I can not believe I have watched him grow so fast.

12x12 layout with hand cut mats {10" x 4" and 10" x 3"}
Kraft border across middle {12" x 2.5"} used Fiskars stamp border
TPC, DCWV & We R Memory cardstock and papers
Bakers Twine, SU! silver brads, buttons, hemp, Studio G ink spots for inking,
paper crimper for heart, 3D dots, glue dots, ATG and Zig 2way pen
Computer printed journaling

Cricut Carts Used:

A Child's Year
Mom and baby {3"} toddler boy with plane {2"} school age boy {2.5"} older boy {3"}
the above all had shadow and base cuts
Wild CardStars {random 1" - 2"} some layered with 3D dots
Birthday Cakesfonts "2" and "u" {2.25"}
shadow and base cut
Straight from the NestPhoto corners {.75"}

I wanted this layout to remind him that even though he gets older in age, every time I look at him, I see that tiny baby in my arms.  I wish I could hold onto him forever.

I do have a little blog candy today. This papercrafts book with some great ideas!  All you need to do is leave a comment on THIS post to be entered to win.  Winner will be announced Monday morning, so you have all weekend to enter.
