Having some Fun!

Last week the kids were all home during the week {no school for Mason} and since they were stuck inside from being sick earlier in the week, I had to get them out of here.  We took a drive and went to the Discovery Center.   For those who do not live in this area, the Discovery Center is a pretend play center filled with all sorts of occupations and experiences.  The grocery store, post office, bank, hockey locker room, ambulance, news station, etc.  It's a great time, keeps the kids busy for hours!!

Seems that Mason was too old to "play" and just ran through the tunnels and ramps.  Of course Emily follows,  so Madeline and I had a blast really PRETENDING!   I had all intentions of taking a ton of pictures, I played a little too much and only got a few.  It was still enough to make a layout to remember how much fun we had!!

This is a 12x12 page
I used Core'dinations solid cardstock, DCWV patterned papers, and some other scraps I had.
I used a SU! corner rounder, hand cut the banner tag, Fiskars border punch, and SU! ticket punch
Hand cut photo mats
Sewed a zig zag to give some texture
"Playtime" is cut from the Playtime {Lite} Cart at 2.5"
The frame is also from Playtime {princess cut} at 3"
Inked edges, journal stamp from Fiskars
"FUN" chipboard letters I found laying around
Flower shaped paperclip from a $1 bin at Michaels forever ago
Green button on the paperclip was attached using some pop dots.
