One on my younger cousins is getting married this weekend. I will not be able to attend, with baseball games other birthday parties the kids need to go to, but I will be sending along a card with my parents.
Of course when it comes to weddings, a few things come to mind. A money card, rather than an A2, what colors is there wedding going to be, and of course, TIE THE KNOT cartridge.
I made this a No.10 card {letter sized envelope}
I used the entire 8.5 length, scored at 3.5" and 7"
I used Core'dinations, K&Company & Georgia Pacific cardstock.
I hand cut the mat used my SU! ticket corner punch
Sentiment was a cut from Tie The Know {3"}
I cut the center twice, added 3D foam to pop it up
The ribbon I used was a 1.5" velvet fabric ribbon I had found at Target after Christmas. It was a huge roll for only $2.00
This is why I chose to keep the entire 8.5"" of the paper.
I folded that last 1.5" up to create a pocket for money. It is adhered down on both sides so that it can not fall out and is still wide enough to fit cash or a check
I lined the inside with white, just to brighten it up.
Added an SU! sentiment to the top.
Brought the same patterned paper from the font to the inside to tie it all together.
