My Core’dinations Creative Frenzy

I'm going for it!  Core'dinations is having a design team call.   My fingers and eyes are crossed!  {HA!} Almost every project I make is with their papers.  I buy more and more every time I head to Joann's.
They have an amazing gallery {check it out if you haven't yet}from their already AMAZING design team.

I am probably playing way out of my league...but hey, you only live once right!!   I love this hobby.   If just one project I made inspires someone else, then I feel my "job" has been done.  Of course, I've never loved work as much as I love doing this.  It's because of great readers like you, who leave me the most gracious comments, that I have the confidence to enter.

This was a fun card to make
I used Core'dinations and Bazzil paper
The background was already embossed when I purchased it.   When I was out shopping I found the nice Core'dinations sanding block.   It's so handy!  I sanded down these "bubbles" and the first thing that came to mind was this fishbowl.
The bowl is cut from acetate from Create A Critter {4.5"}
Sand is also Core'dinations paper, sanded along the edges.
Fish were cut from Create A Critter also {1.5", 2", 3"}
Sentiment and the punch {modern label} are from SU!

I accidentally laid this near the heater and it started to melt the acetate.  The cool thing is...it made the bowl round off and really take shape!  I love it!

This is an A2 card
The base of this card is solid brown Core'dination paper
I used a Cuttlebug folder to emboss this and give it texture
I love how crisp the Core'dination papers are when embossedThe ivory paper is also Core'dinations.  It is a beautiful pearl color>
I used a white wash pink and solid pink to cut butterflys from MS Cake cart
Used ZipDry to adhere them and keep the open wings.
Sentiment is from my stamp collection

You have to see this pearl paper in person to capture its real beauty.

A few weeks ago I picked up a pack of diecuts from K&Company.   I had this criss cross texture paper from Core'dinations that just really stood out to me.  So I paired the two together.

Take a closer look at these Core'dination papers.  Dyed all the way through!!!  You can tear, sand, and emboss and keep that great color, or in some cases, they have special papers that are a completely different color.

Loving this hobby is one thing, but having AMAZING products to work with...
now that's the icing on the cake!
