Mini Frame

With all the things laying around in my craft room...anything can turn into anything else!!

The girls and I were hanging out and in the corner of my eye I saw this pack of square coasters I had bought at Michael's.   My main purpose for buying them, is to alter them.  Round or Square, I buy them up when I see them on sale.  Anyway, for this project I thought I would make it into a small frame.

I covered the front and back with some Kraft Cardstock and used a corner rounder on all four sides.
Inked around the edges of the coaster to blend in the layers.
Echo Park Little Boys patterned cardstock
The orange and blue frames were cut from Tear Drop {3"} shadow and frame
This cut already had holes cut in the corners, so I added the green brads to finish it off;
the top of the blue frame is NOT glued down, so that I can slide a picture down into the frame
Black bakers twine wrapped around before the frame was adhered.
The little green monster was cut from Boys Will Be Boys {1.5"}
Sentiment was from my own acrylic stamps (TC Stampmaker)

Really simple!  You could make these up with so many different papers and embellishments for any occasion.   Great gift for grandparents or to just set on your desk.

Thanks for stopping by!
