So...what do you get your parents?? I never know. I try to find that ONE thing that they will really love, but they have everything that they need or want, so I am left with NOTHING. However, since I have some crafty resources, I have found the way to give them one of a kind presents.....
go me!
My Dad has a wonderful "Man's Cave" in their basement of their house. So I thought I would make him a sign for the wall.
I had some 12x12 record frames laying around {3.99 at the Christmas Tree Shop}
I backed this with the blue pattern paper from a DCVW pack {12 x 12}
Added the solid black {11.5 x 11.5}

The sign cut is from Nifty Fifties. I didn't really want it to say "Drive In", so I edited this with my Gypsy to get rid of the car cutouts.
I hand cut the bottom tire from the blue sign.
There is a combination of DCWV and Bazzill cardstock, and inked edges.
This was not a shadow box frame, so everything was adhered down with my ATG.
I cut his name out with my SCAL program
The wording at the bottom of the sign is cut from black vinyl at .25" {yes, that small!} using Base Camp
