A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to win a contest sponsored by ScrapbookPal.com
They posted this contest on Facebook, you needed to link the words "Cricut Cartridges" to their website on your blog. If you scroll down, on the right you will see their logo on my sidebar.
The prize for this contest was any cartridge that they had available at the time. I chose Pack Your Bags! I am hoping for a lot of great summer memories and events, so this was a perfect choice.

This cute little whale caught my eye right away, so I had to make a quick card with him.
A2 size card, this card opens on the left.
I used AC, DCWV & Core'dinations cardstock
It's hard to tell, but there is clear acetate popped up off the card.
The whale was cut from Pack Your Bags {3.5"}
I used pink ink to color in his cheek and added some white dots around with my Gelly Roll pen.
I cut a second layer of the splash and embossed it with the Devine Swirls Cuttlebug folder, inked it and popped it up for dimension.
I used my paper crimper on the background cardstock for some more texture and embossed the sentiment in white. It came out a bit speckled, but I like the way it turned out.
I can't wait til we are all in the pool making our own splashes!!

Cute card, Liza! Love the embossing too!
Cute card. I really want that cartridge too, but there are always so many that I want. I just bought a bunch (and the Imagine when it was on sale) so I'm trying to be good for a little while. At least until I start using some of this stuff. I just love looking at blogs for inspiration and then run out of time. LOL. Thanks for sharing.
Very sweet.
Congrats on winning! and that card is so darn CUTE! :o)
