Our Elementary School celebrates the last twelve days before Winter Break with a variety of special days. Wear White, Wear Red, Holiday Socks, Bell Day, etc.
Mason came home today to remind me that tomorrow is Holiday Pin day and he was very specific as to what he wanted to wear. The great part is, he explains it so "matter of fact" like whatever it was, I WOULD be able to make it happen. Glad he has so much confidence in me.
Mason: "ok, so I want this globe, that has snow paper on it and snow that can shake. Hills of snow and a snowman. Oh, and some trees" "But you have to make sure it shakes when I move"
Me: Ok, let's get to work!
{THANK YOU PC}
Used my handy dandy Gypsy.
Welded a circle (PS) at 2.25" and a trapezoid (Gypsy Wanderings). Added in a circle at 1.75" Cut this out of black board and kraft. Also cut the back (no inside circle) out of both.
Hand cut the snow mounds, snowman (Doodlecharms) .25" , scarf (EDPD) scaled it down on the Gypsy. Trees (Christmas, Noel) 1", colored in the arms and drew in eyes and buttons. Used 3D dots on the snow mounds and snowman. Sweet Treat Cup from SU!. Assembled all together using my ATG gun, sprinkled in some white glitter before closing it up. AC ribbon wrapped around, and an adhesive pin on the backside.
The entire pin is about 2.5" tall and 2" wide.
