My husband and I woke up early this morning and went outside to put up all the lights. Well, not many, we have a very small porch. But, they are up and the kids are excited.
Day 4 of Advent was writing our letters to Santa.
Mason (7) had a very long list of typical items. He also said he needed to put Nick (Nickelodeon) on so he could watch commercials, in case there was more he wanted.
Emily (4) only asked for a paint set, a Barbie house and a Hello Kitty Bracelet. All things this "Santa" already has in his bag :)
Madeline (2) drew pictures for Santa. One was a princess and the other was a picture of her, which she told me meant she wanted jammies. Pretty simple, "he" can handle that.
Off to the post office we went, snow flakes in the air. I had three very happy, excited kids. Sure can put a smile on your face.
For at home crafts today (super simple) we made candy canes with pipe cleaners we had found at Joann's {$1 bins, they were already twisted red and white} and we also colored our winter pillowcases. I found these at The Christmas Tree Shop. {$2.99} They came with fabric crayons and I just ironed them when they were finished.
^ Yes...she lives in jammies! ^
The sun is going down.... time to light up the porch!!
